Call me a pessimist, but while some are constantly striving to find the sunshine in dark corners of the earth, I can’t help but notice the downfalls, glitches and shadows in society. As far as i am concerned, a life is no life at all if it is based upon the opinions of the majorities in society that we have grown up with. How far are we willing to go to stand up for the values that were laid down in previous years? The world is changing at a fast pace and it will not wait for anyone. Speaking as the youth of today and the face of tomorrow, I can tell you that not everything we are led to believe is true or right. Growing up unsheltered to a certain degree, I have been able to see the world through my own eyes, untouched by religion or politics. These are two factors that can really shape and manipulate a person, ever so discretely. This is the way the world works. Too many times we have seen failure, adapting to it as a concept, accepting the fact that this is the image of our city, our nation, our world. Of course it is unfair to say that perfection should be achieved, because it shouldn’t and will not. There is no proof that our world has ever seen a glimpse of perfection and so I will never focus on an ideal map of life. I will however always try my best to exploit the corruption that beguiles us all. The topics i choose to write about will concern current issues that we are faced with in the present, and possibly even the future. There is absolutely no room for luddites in our world. Perhaps you’ll disagree with me, maybe you’ll fall in love. Whatever the case may be, my fingers type what my eyes have seen. Like it or not, this is my page and my perception. Enjoy the ride.
